First elected by the voters of Clinton County in 2003, Sheriff Dave Favro brought decades of experience from the Plattsburgh City Police Department to the Sheriff’s Office. With more than forty years in law enforcement, administration, and corrections, he has devoted his career to protecting the people of Clinton County. Through innovative technology, effective policies, and experienced leadership, Sheriff Favro continues to work every day to keep our communities safe.

Sheriff Favro has always believed that public safety is strongest when agencies work together.
